Dr. Thomas A. Underhill
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University and his Doctor of Optometry from the School of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University which is located in Davie, Florida.
Doctor Thomas A. Underhill is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy E. Underhill. Dr. Tommy and his wife Ashley have two children, Owen and Lacy. Tommy is a fourth generation native of Fort Myers and is a member of Saint Michael Lutheran Church; attended Saint Michaels Lutheran School and received his high school diploma from Bishop Verot High School. He is also involved with his kids activities: gymnastics, baseball, football, and lacrosse. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, boating, and fishing with his family and friends.
As a member of Southwest Florida Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Underhill continues post graduate medical education in order to stay current with new ocular procedures and treatments. He looks forward to a career serving his patients’ eyecare needs and being an active member of his community.
