Dr. Timothy E. Underhill

Dr. Timothy E. Underhill received his B. S. from the University of Georgia.  He then graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

He was born in Fort Myers, Florida and is married to Pam. They have 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 granddogs. Locally Dr. Underhill is a past president of Rotary, South Fort Myers and Chairmen of the School Board for St. Michael Lutheran School. Dr. Underhill is also past president of the Florida Optometric Association, Florida Optometrist of the year in 2005, and Florida’s Optometrist of the Decade in 2008. He is also a member of the SWFOA, FOA, AOA and the American Diabetes Association

Dr. Underhill routinely pursues continuing education to stay current with new trends and treatments in eye care with emphasis on new ocular pharmaceuticals and cataract, macular degeneration, and glaucoma treatments. He is also a Certified Dry Eye specialist.
